Resource for: I believe I was put on this earth to help others through my experiences. My latest venture is advocating for people with disabilities. Even though Education laws is what I began with, as my child became an adult, my acquired knowledge of dealing with doctors, agencies and guardianship issues, my advocacy grew in those directions. I created a support group called STEPS (South Texas Exceptional Parent Support) which lasted a little over 7 years. While my emphasis on disability rights will not be my only focus, Project Insight: CJEAI training can be incorporated if needed at any time.
